"Mental health affects so many of us"

Anna explains how she aims to help support Lambeth and Southwark Mind and why.

The last time I ran a half marathon was about six years ago, and I injured myself and swore I wouldn’t do one again… but I’ve been so inspired by the amazing work Lambeth and Southwark Mind do that I just couldn’t resist signing up to give myself the challenge to get fit again and to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity.
I work for Royal London and we chose Lambeth and Southwark Mind to be our local London charity partner because mental health affects so many of us, and it’s vitally important that there is free support and care out there for people to turn to.
The Lambeth and Southwark Mind team are great- it has been a privilege to get to know them and to get an insight into the charity and the work they do.
The half marathon is just one area where we’re supporting them and helping to raise funds to keep their incredibly important services running. And running is exactly what I need to get doing!
